The best WhatsApp marketing software for an Indian small business depends on the job. For broadcasts and chatbots on a budget, AiSensy and Interakt have the lowest published entry prices. WATI and Gallabox suit teams that want a shared inbox with more channels. If you only reply to a few dozen chats a day, the free WhatsApp Business app may be all you need.

1. WhatsApp Business app and Business AI
The free WhatsApp Business app is where most Indian shops start. It runs on your phone, gives you a business profile, a catalogue and greeting and away messages (WhatsApp Business, checked Oct 2026).
In May 2026 Meta launched Business AI inside the app for Indian small businesses. It answers customer questions around the clock from your profile and catalogue, captures leads, books appointments and lets you take over any chat (Meta newsroom, checked Oct 2026). The announcement does not give a price, and it is open to "eligible" businesses only.
- Good for one owner answering chats with no software budget.
- It has no shared team inbox, no API and no link to your Google reviews or ads.
- Try it first. Move to the API when several people need one number, or you want approved templates for reminders.

2. AiSensy
AiSensy's own help centre lists a Free Forever plan with API access, template creation and a one-agent live chat. It leaves out broadcasting, retargeting and template message APIs (AiSensy wiki, checked Oct 2026). The same help article puts Basic at ₹1,500 a month. AiSensy's blog lists Pro at ₹3,200 a month (AiSensy blog, checked Oct 2026).
On its pricing page (checked Oct 2026), AiSensy charges:
- ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility message in India.
- ₹2,500 a month for the chatbot builder add-on.
- ₹1,350 a month for the AI agent add-on.
Best for: small teams that mainly send broadcasts and run Click-to-WhatsApp ads.
3. Interakt
Interakt's pricing page (checked Oct 2026) lists these plans, plus taxes:
- Starter at ₹999 a month, for Instagram only.
- Growth at ₹2,799 a month, for WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Advanced at ₹3,799 a month.
Its published rates for Indian numbers run from ₹0.949 to ₹0.970 per marketing message, depending on the plan. Enterprise is "on request" and lists no template markups. The page shows a free trial button but no trial length.
Best for: online stores, especially on Shopify, that want cart and order messages.
4. WATI
WATI's pricing page (checked Oct 2026) shows Growth at ₹2,699 a month, Pro at ₹5,799 and Business at ₹16,799, all billed quarterly. Growth includes 3 users. There is a 7-day free trial. Message charges follow a separate rate card, and extra numbers cost ₹2,499 a month each.
Best for: teams that want WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels in one inbox.
5. Gallabox
Gallabox's pricing page (checked Oct 2026) lists Basic at ₹2,999 a month billed quarterly, or ₹2,399 a month billed annually. Essential is ₹6,999 and Advanced is ₹16,999 (quarterly). You can try it without a card, and the trial includes 500 AI credits. Message fees are billed separately.
Best for: sales teams that build WhatsApp flows for lead capture and follow-up.
6. DoubleTick
DoubleTick's pricing page (checked Oct 2026) names Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans. The text we could read showed no INR price. It also says "We don't offer a free trial" and points you to a demo. Ask for a written quote that splits the plan fee from message fees.
Best for: larger teams who are happy to buy through a sales call.
7. BeeCMO
BeeCMO is not a WhatsApp-only tool, and if WhatsApp is the only thing you need, a tool above may suit you better. Messenger Bee answers WhatsApp, lead-ad and website leads in seconds from facts you approved, sends follow-ups and asks you before any broadcast goes out. It also pulls in IndiaMART and Justdial leads.
What sets it apart is the rest of the team on the same account:
- Guard Bee replies to Google reviews and asks every customer for one.
- Buzz Bee drafts your Instagram and Facebook posts.
- Forager Bee runs Meta ads with hard spend caps.
Meta bills message fees to your own account at Meta's rate, with no markup from us. Messenger Bee Lite is ₹1,999 a month plus 18% GST, and full plans start at ₹3,999 (India pricing). One honest caveat: WhatsApp features depend on Meta approving our app for your account type, which can take time.
How to pick in 15 minutes
- Count your chats. If one person can keep up with replies on a phone, start with the free app.
- List who replies. Two or more people on one number means you need the API and a shared inbox.
- Estimate message costs. Put your monthly marketing and utility volumes into the WhatsApp API pricing calculator, once at Meta's rate and once at the vendor's rate.
- Price the extras. Add users, chatbot or AI add-ons and extra numbers.
- Check the exit. Ask whether your number and contacts move with you if you leave.

Frequently asked questions
Which is the best WhatsApp marketing software in India for small businesses?
It depends on volume and team size. For one person with few chats, the free WhatsApp Business app. For cheap broadcasts, AiSensy's Basic plan has the lowest published price we found. For a team inbox, compare WATI and Gallabox on a trial.
Is WhatsApp Business API free in India?
Getting access through some providers is free, but messages are not. Meta charges per delivered template message by category, and service replies are free up to 1,000 a month per number, then charged. Since 1 October 2026, utility templates sent inside an open 24-hour window are charged too (Meta pricing, checked Oct 2026).
Why do providers charge more per message than Meta?
Some resell Meta's messages at a higher rate. For example, AiSensy lists ₹1.09 and Interakt's Growth plan lists ₹0.958 per marketing message, against Meta's list rate of ₹0.8631.
Can I message my whole contact list?
Only people who gave you their number and agreed to hear from you. WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy requires that opt-in, and you must honour every request to stop. Users can block or report you, and WhatsApp may limit your sending based on that feedback.
Do I need GST on these prices?
Yes. The prices above are before GST, and GST applies to both the subscription and Meta's message fees.
