Most Indian festivals follow the lunar calendar, and regional panchangs sometimes differ by a day. Check yours before you print an offer's last date. Chhath and Guru Nanak Jayanti call for a respectful greeting with no sale. For Republic Day, use tricolour colours and shapes rather than the flag itself, and never the State Emblem.
Three things that make a festival post work
- Your number, large and in the middle. On a 9:16 Status image (1080 × 1920 px), WhatsApp covers the top and bottom with names and buttons.
- A real offer with a last date. "Silk sarees from ₹2,499, till 7 Nov" gets more replies than "Big Diwali sale".
- Your customers' language. A greeting in Hindi or Gujarati next to an English offer reads as yours, not as a template.
