Guard Bee FAQ: Google review replies and requests

What owners ask before they connect their Google Business Profile. For the full product, see Guard Bee.

Guard BeeLooks after your Google profile and reviews.
Can review replies go out automatically?

Replies to 4 and 5★ reviews can post on their own if you switch that on. Replies to 1 to 3★ reviews, reviews with no star rating, and any reply flagged for promising a refund or admitting fault always wait for your approval. A 1★ review also sends you an urgent alert.

Which languages can it reply in?

The reviewer's language, in your brand voice. A review in Spanish or Hindi gets a reply in Spanish or Hindi. Check a draft carefully before approving it if you don't read the language well.

Does it ask only happy customers for reviews?

No. That's called review gating, and Google's policy bans it, as does the US FTC rule on fake reviews. Guard Bee has no rating filter: every customer you add gets the same request, by text, WhatsApp or email, with a link to your Google review page. How to get more Google reviews.

Which review sites does it cover?

Google only, for now. Yelp, Facebook recommendations, Justdial and Zomato reviews aren't supported.

Why can't it connect to my profile yet?

Google approves access to the Business Profile API by hand, and your profile must be verified for at least 60 days. Google also discontinued the Q&A API in November 2025, so profile questions can't be automated.

How quickly does it see a new review?

New reviews are synced every 15 minutes for each location. Replies you write in the Google app are picked up too.
