How the numbers are worked out
- Calls a month = calls a week × 52 ÷ 12.
- Missed calls = calls a month × the share you miss.
- Callers who go elsewhere = missed calls × the share who try someone else instead of calling back.
- Jobs lost = those callers × the share of leads you usually win.
- Revenue at risk = jobs lost × your average job value.
- Won back = revenue at risk × the share a text-back reaches in time. That last number is your own estimate: the calculator doesn't assume one is true for your business.
Don't know your missed-call share? Your phone system or carrier's call log usually shows answered and missed calls. Count one ordinary week.
