Forager Bee FAQ: Meta ads with hard budget caps

What owners ask before they connect a Meta ad account. For the full product, see Forager Bee.

Forager BeeRuns your ads and brings customers back.
Can it start spending without asking me?

No. Every campaign is created paused. Activating, resuming and raising a budget always need your approval, and that can't be switched off. Pausing and lowering a budget are instant.

How do the budget caps work?

You set daily and monthly caps per workspace; if you haven't, a conservative default applies, such as $100 a day in the US. A plan that would cross the cap is blocked. If today's spend passes your daily cap by more than 10%, or the month reaches your monthly cap, every live campaign is paused and you get an urgent alert. Nothing restarts on its own.

Can Meta still overspend?

Yes, a little. Meta can spend up to 75% over a daily budget on some days, and spend data arrives with a delay. The kill switch runs hourly on totals with a 10% margin, so it limits overspend; it can't make it impossible.

Who pays for the ads?

Meta bills ad spend to your own ad account. BeeCMO never holds your ad money and takes no percentage of spend.

If I approve an ad, will it run?

Approved in BeeCMO means submitted to Meta. Meta reviews every ad before it runs and can still reject it.

Can it run housing, job or credit ads?

Housing, employment and financial ads are set up as Meta special ad categories, with the targeting limits those require. Political ads are blocked, and so are restricted topics such as gambling and crypto.

Does it support Google Ads?

Not yet. Forager Bee works with Meta ads on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
